Warriors 1: Into the Wild by Erin Hunter - review In this book you follow Firepaw as he makes friends, enemies and learns to live with the warrior code. This book is a real page turner. I love. The basic foundation of Iroquois trade was fur. They were known as hunters of animals and gatherers of the earth's bounty. They were also farmers and fishermen, utilizing many sources to sustain.

The men were also small game hunters and warriors. The Iroquois live in longhouses, in which the husband lives within their wives community. The longhouses provide a compartment for each nuclear family to live. Since the Iroquois is a matrilineal group, the eldest female of the family makes all the final decisions on resources and property. Once a tribe of the Iroquois became very warlike and cruel. They liked to follow the warpath rather than the hunting trails. These warriors thought only of the war dance. They forgot to give thanks for the sweet waters of the maple, and for the planting season.

Battle scenes and narration was great, and I really enjoyed learning more about these warriors. Shame that you arn't doing the redux series anymore, as some of the warriors that reside in it would look really great in your blog/book (Spartans/ninja, Shaolin, William, Sun/Vlad are all eye catchers that don't currently reside in your book). In horticultural groups females are the primary gatherers of food for the group while the men cleared and burned the land and forest to prepare them for farming. The men were also small game hunters and warriors. The Iroquois live in longhouses, in which the husband lives within their wives community.
